Dear Shayne,
Remember my catnip failure? Well, here is my second attempt:
Today is Day 2 that that catnip plant has been in my possession and... it's not dead! Yay!
(I dumped the seeds and bought an already growing plant from Petco -- here's hoping for continued growth.)
love,
kelly

Good Job!
Kelly-
That may actually help solve my problem. Problem is- I might not know what you are talking about. I normally drop the bobbin in- but it must be taken out in a certain direction right? I will go home and try it in both directions. That would be so cool if that is what the problem is because that means I could actually fix it!
Thanks for the tip! It wasn't super obvious for me. My normnal machine uses a bobbin case.

Excellent! Lavender, catnip... what's next?!
Love the color of the pot! Random comment, I know, but after two partial days spent getting our garden ready for a southern winter, I'm all about the garden accessories. :)
Good job! Are you attracting any neighborhood kitties?
Sutter, thanks for the compliment on the color of the pot -- I love it too! (Sorry you're having winter now... I'll try to post more outdoor photos for ya!)
Shayne, I haven't attracted any kitties yet. My plant is way too small for that. Also... ahem... after my big 2 day start, I almost killed it. :( I think it was overwatering. I asked Bill what to do and he said: "Stop watering it." So I have. I'm still hoping for recovery. Sigh.
