I saw these adorable dolls today, made by Craftster user alisonillustration.
If I can clear off enough dining room table this weekend, I just might try to make one myself. I'll probably have to come up with a boy version for Sam!

If you're looking for a cute doll pattern, Emily Martin of the Black Apple made one for her segment on Martha Stewart. You can find the segment and a link to the pattern here. She's different from this one, but still very cute.
This little girl is also very similar to the one pictured on the front of Stitched in Time by Alicia Paulson (of Posie Gets Cozy, my very favorite blog. Hrm... I should post a review of that book here sometime, shouldn't I? Yes, yes I should.)
