Dear Kelly,
I guess because Randy has a pacemaker, I really like anatomical hearts now. So for his birthday next month, I just finished embroidering this t-shirt from Sublime Stitching pattern Vital Organs:
But I'm not entirely sure that it looks right. What do you think?
Love,
Shayne

I think it looks great -- your stitches are so smooth and even (color me jealous). Did you use stabilizer to embroider on the t-shirt? (I've never tried -- makes me nervous.)
I guess the only thing that maybe looks different from what I'd expect is that anatomical hearts are usually drawn in different colors, right? (Blue... purple... what now?)
Since yours is all red, it may be harder to see the different parts of the heart. But I think it looks great -- love the red and it's totally identifiable as a heart. So I'd say... win!
Yeah, the example shows it with different colors, but I was too lazy. I didn't even think to use stabilizer! I didn't even bother to hoop it which was a mistake. You might not be able to see it in the photo, but it's a little bunched up in places.
I love that there is a stitching pattern for vital organs!
This is so sweet. I love it. :)
Thank you for your prayers yesterday, so much.
Hugs,
Liz
You're welcome, Liz -- so glad it all worked out!
