And, you'll be proud to know that for the first time in probably 2 years, I had my sewing machine out last night. It was just to fix a zipper, but it felt good!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13205737257301534685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22924666.post-67030146040792399372010-09-21T12:37:51.905-04:002010-09-21T12:37:51.905-04:00Love the French seams!!!Love the French seams!!!Shaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06231502195686700634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22924666.post-54764386539824289582010-09-20T22:26:40.629-04:002010-09-20T22:26:40.629-04:00Awesome! There's pretty a good one here that should help you out.

The weirdest thing is the first seam -- you sew with wrong sides together and it doesn't feel right when you're doing it. But it turns out great, so I'm all for it.

As for the collaborative project, Shayne and I have been expanding on the idea off-blog, so look for a post from us soon about what we're going to be doing. It should be fun!kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07832228313612518377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22924666.post-81280883549447342942010-09-20T10:02:34.887-04:002010-09-20T10:02:34.887-04:00First of all, that fabric ROCKS! That was thing I disliked the most with my bag. How did you do them? Was there a tutorial you used? I'd love to try that on another bag. It looks much more finished without having to add a lining.

Oh, and I was going to comment on your other post re: the 17 month collaborative project, but I didn't want to interrupt your intimate conversation! I think that sounds like so much fun and I can't wait to see what you two come up with!emily bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12621068879027327365noreply@blogger.com
